Our Mission

Roseland Stewardship was founded to promote the protection and management of preserved lands that, for conservation purposes, are subject to restrictive covenants. This includes restrictions recorded in connection with the development of mitigation banks created to offset unavoidable impacts to the environment. Roseland's goal of protection is manifested through the defense of easements and restrictions of record relating to these preserved lands, the management of properties in perpetuity, and the provision of educational opportunities to future generations of environmental stewards.
